A show about class, grief and disco!
Written & Performed by Joanna Griffin | Directed by Róisín O’Mahony
Available from Wednesday 16th June 7:30pm – Sunday 20th June 2021 midnight
This new one-woman show bursts from the seams of lockdown as Miss Honey invites you to a digitally broadcast performance from the one and only Glory Nightclub in East London.
A hilarious and provocative dive into privilege and sexuality as we follow the story of a private tutor juggling teaching the UK’s elite with high kicking disco balls on a school night. Joanna Griffin’s newest work is a comically dark look at the toxic comparison culture we live in, as her mid 30s heroine tries to fight the feeling that she’s getting left behind.
Until the pubs and the clubs and the tubs open again for real come for a spin with Miss Honey as she let’s loose in East London’s sparkliest, sweatiest basement.
