A debut solo show from former Footlight John Tothill you’d be mad or busy to miss.

Join John Tothill – writer, comedian, former Footlight and London’s Last Libertine, actually – for an evening of exaggeration, emancipation and assorted chat.

Dermatologists Hate Him is Tothill’s debut solo show, so even if it’s absolutely appalling, it’s still technically historic, if that makes sense? Luckily, it’s going to be stunning anyway, so you don’t even need to worry about that too much. In fact, some scholars have argued that it’s one of the best possible ways to spend an evening (citation needed).

Just take a couple of minutes to imagine how the world would look if you just bought a ticket: before the show, you could have the nicest Aperol spritz in the world, wander along to the Canal Café Theatre, take in 45 minutes of organic, corn-fed, free-range good vibes, before sitting outside and soaking up London’s late-summer sunset. Take August out for one last night on the town, before bidding him farewell and turning to his no-nonsense, big-boned sister, September, with your back-to-school stationery at the ready.
